Report on Monthly Awareness Programme

FORGET YOUR PAST AND FOCUS ON FUTURE!
The July month awareness programme on ‘Rivers of India ‘conducted on26th July .The programme started with a prayer.
Raj Singh of class5th B was the  comperer of the programme.
The comperer created interest and inquisitivity in the minds of the fellow beings through his interesting questions.
Dipesh, Ayush, Himanshu and Aryan of class 7th B prepared the  model of ‘The Origin and Journey Of A River' and Sakshi of class 5th C explained in detail about  Glacier, stream, brook, rill, tributaries,and distributaries  showing the model.  Students provided the information about major rivers systems such as River Ganga,River Brahmaputra, River Narmada,etc with their lengths, origins,  tributaries ,the state through which they flow and their discharge either in Bay of Bengal or Arabian sea explained with placards of states .Students depicted very beautifully the origin place and the states through which the rivers flow through a human chain and at last which sea  or bay its meets. The concept was made crystal clear in the minds of the students through this programme. The participants and audience both enjoyed the informative session and had long lasting impact in the minds of budding students. The incharge teacher Miss  Praveena Nadar proposed vote of thanks at the end.
