The Annual Van Mahotsav was organised in NKES High school for class 5 to 7 on 24 th July 2023.
The event began with a speech followed by a short film showing the emotional impact of trees in addition to the environmental role.
The adverse impact of deforestation was highlighted through a song presented by Miss Sanskrut Bhaydekar. Students prepared slogans on the occasion showing the importance of trees.
Planting of saplings was an important activity, in which children took part eagerly. Headmistress Madam Smt Uma Maheshwari explained .the importance of taking care of plants after planting the saplings. The incharge teacher for the activity was Shri Shivaji Salunke.
