Disaster Management is a cell of the centre of Excellence. Jr. College organized a training programme on disaster and fire management on 05 th July 2023, in the college auditorium, in collaboration with Mr. Rajendra Lokhande and Mr. V.C. Vishwasrao in association with BMC Disaster Management Team Mumbai. The aim of the programme was to disseminate the information and to impart knowledge regarding disaster preparedness and mitigation of its effects. In this awareness session, understanding hazards of disaster, vulnerability analysis, responsive and non-responsive preparedness for disaster; and do’s and don’ts of tools in Disaster Management and emergency fire safety were the overall highlights. Throughout the seminar the key consideration of students and teachers was focused on the psychological and social care during the calamities.
