It was celebrated enthusiastically on 15th July 2023.The following colours were assigned to the classes.
Std 1-red
Std2-white
Std3-blue
Std4-green
All the students n teachers dressed up in the colours assigned to their class. The classes were decorated with balloons and various decorative items. Activities based on the colours were conducted by all the classes. This day is celebrated to make the students understand Colour concept.
As part of the above Walkathon n drawing competition were arranged for the students of std3 n4 by HPCL.Students enthusiastically participated in the Walkathon. Winners of the drawing competition were awarded on the spot. All the students were presented with a cleanliness kit.A great initiative to enrich the young minds.

NKES high school took the initiative to celebrate world population day on 11th July 2023. Students of standard V to X participated in the various activities conducted by the school.
It was celebrated on 3rd July. It was celebrated with great enthusiasm n reverence. The students expressed their gratitude towards their teachers in the form of flowers n sweets. They also made greeting cards of unique designs n honoured their teachers. The bonding between the trs n students could be felt through these kind gestures.
It was held on 21/6/23.The students gathered in the hall in batches. The teachers briefed them about the importance of yoga in our life. Then meditation n asanas were done by the students under the guidance of the teachers. They enthusiastically participated in the yoga session.
We need " Gurus" to lead us on the correct path! Hence, Guru Purnima is celebrated to acknowledge the contribution of the teachers. The KG section celebrated Guru Purnima on 3rd July 2023 in the KG premises with great zeal & enthusiasm . The celebration started with a melodious chanting "Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu" shloka by teachers & kids. There was an interesting story telling session to educate the kids about "Guru Purnima ". The teachers also explained the importance of Guru in our life.
International Yoga Day was celebrated with full spirit and joy in NKES HIGH SCHOOL on 21st June, 2023. During the mass prayer , yoga session was organised by Mr Santosh Kumar. Along with PT teacher and two students various asanas were performed.
Teacher explained various asanas and its benefits to students. Students from each class had demonstrated Surya Namaskar and various yogasan and breathing exercises showing the strength of Yoga and the flexibility attained on doing it.
International yoga day was celebrated on 21st June 2023 for class 5 to 7 in the afternoon session.
Yoga is a culture of physical, mental and spiritual discipline perfected in India and it is practiced all over the world today. Yoga sessions were arranged for classes 5 to 7 in the sequential manner one after the other. School committee Hon.Gen. Secretary Smt. Padmaja Madam and Trustee member Shri Anant Banvasi Sir graced the occasion and guided the students.
"Ashadi Ekadashi" was celebrated in KG section on 28th June with full zest & fervour. All the KG students were dressed in colourful traditional attires as Warkaris. Few boys were dressed as " Lord Vitthal" & few girls were dressed as "Goddess Rukmini". Girls carried Holy Basil saplings & boys played the cymbals enchanting the name of "Lord Vitthal". A "Bal Dindi" ceremony was organised by teachers & non teaching staff of KG section.
To cheer up our tiny tots back to school after vacation and to create a homely atmosphere ; A Welcome Ceremony was organized by school on 22nd June 2023 for the tiny tots of JrKG & Nursery. The teachers & non teaching staff of KG section decorated the classrooms & corridors with colourful balloons, cartoon images, flowers & many other decorative items. All the tiny tots were neatly dressed.
