CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION - SECONDARY

“Every child is a different kind of flower and all together makes this world a beautiful garden.”
November 14 is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889, he was also known as Pandit Nehru. Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was very popular amongst children for his love. November 14 marks Nehru’s devotion to welfare, education and development of children and young people.
A day marking childhood ,and to make this event a memorable for our little ones, NKES HIGH  SCHOOL (Secondary section) Class 8 to class 10 celebrated Children’s Day on 14 November 2022 in the school auditorium. The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The day commemorated with immense joy , enthusiasm and magnificence. The buddies came dressed up in casual clothes . The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, followed by variety of fun filled activities planned by the teachers for their children. The teachers made Children’s Day special for their children by involving them into various cultural activities like dance , songs, drama, fashion show, mono acting etc. All the children were left with cherishing memories, joy and happiness.

Report on Children’s Day Celebration (STd:5 th to 7 th )

November 14 th is celebrated as Children’s Day or Bal Diwas every year in India. On this day, we remember the first Prime Minister Pandit Jawharlal Nehru, who was fondly called chacha Nehru. He was very popular amongst the children. To make this day a memorable one amongst the children of class 5 th to 7 th , various activities were conducted. The day commemorated with immense joy, enthusiasm and magnificence. The children dressed up in casual clothes and brought their favourite lunch. The celebration started with the afternoon prayers, followed by variety of funfilled activities and games planned by the teachers. 
The activities were as followed:
Class 5- Puzzle Time, One minute games, Book balancing, blind man’s buff & movie time.
Class 6- Games like segregation of pulses, one minute games like arrange the hair clips and hit the
target, etc.
Class 7- Draping saree, Folding clothes, Bursting the balloons & movie time.
The students enjoyed the games and movie time to their hearts content. In the second half, students were taken to auditorium for stage function. The function began by the prayer sung by Music teacher Shri, Sachin More & Smt. Mansi Mukadam teacher. A sloka recited by Pranali teacher for the well-being of studentsFancy dress competition based on the theme ‘Dress yourself with paper costumes and waste materials for the students”were conducted.Students innovative ideas amazed the audiences and judges. The judges for the competition were Smt. Vidya Shanbhag Madam(K.G.Co-ordinator) and Shri. Shivayogi Sannamani(Drawing teacher}.. Incharge teachers were Smt. Jayshree and Ratnavathy. Immediately after that solo dance competition started in which many students took part and showered their dancing skills. The teachers incharge were Smt. Pranali and Krupa. The judes for the competition were Smt. Madhavi(Primary teacher) & Shri Sajay Pandav( IT Executive ). After the events, the judges guided our students. Headmistress Madam Smt. Uma Maheswari guided and blessed our children on this occasion. At last the vote of thanks was delivered by Smt. Jayshree Gund teacher. National song was played at the end of the function. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day
