Black & Brown Day celebration: The KG section of NKES celebrated Makarsankranti, Black & Brown Day on 12th January with great zeal. All the KG classrooms and corridors were decorated with kites, black and brown balloons. All the students & teachers were dressed in black & brown attires. All the KG section students coloured Black objects worksheets, Brown objects worksheets and Kites worksheets. Teacher explained all the students about the importance of the Makarsankranti festival. The KG teachers also explained their students about the various Black and Brown things . Teachers showed different black and brown pictures displayed on the walls,chart and board. At the end KG coordinator and teachers distributed sugar mimosa balls and sesame jaggery laddoos to all the students. The celebration ended with sweet memories.
