Independence Day celebration 2021: NKES CCDC

The NKES CCDC celebrated a virtual 75th Independence Day on 13th August with great enthusiasm. All the students and teachers were in orange, green, white and tricolour attires. Few students decorated their face with tricolour tattoos .Student's parents decorated their house with tricolour dupattas, flag and tricolour balloons. Teachers started the online celebration with prayers. Teachers explained the students about Independence Day. On 15th August 1947, India got Independence, teachers also explained the life of Indians before Independence. They also explained students that Independence Day is the National festival of India, we hoist our National Flag on this day and sing National anthem "Jana Gana Mana". Teachers along with the students gave salute and tribute to the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and our Indian soldiers. Several creative activities were planned by the KG section teachers. 
SrKG students made tricolour paper fan activity and JrKG students made tricolour flower sticking activity. Both SrKG and JrKG students made National Flag activity through finger painting . Nursery students coloured the National Flag with crayons colours. All the students of KG section sung National Anthem, "Jana Gana Mana" followed by National song "Vande  Mataram " with their respective teachers. Children also sang  Teen Rang ka pyara Jhanda song by waving National Flag along with teachers during online celebration. All the Students actively participated in all virtual events and activities. Even the Pandemic could not deter the spirit of Patriotism.
